MAQ began an editorial transition on January 1, as I began my term as Editor. During the first six months of 2013, outgoing Editors Mark Luborsky, Andrea Sankar, and I will work together to ensure a smooth transition of the MAQ editorial office.
New manuscripts submitted on or after Jan. 1, 2013 will be handled by the new editorial office at the University of Florida. Manuscripts submitted before that date will remain the responsibility of the Wayne State office until June 30, 2013. Thus, Drs. Luborsky and Sankar will continue to handle all manuscripts for which they initiated peer review, including revisions that are submitted in early 2013. This plan assures authors of continuity and fairness in the review process.
On June 30, 2013, any remaining manuscripts in the Wayne State editorial office will be passed to the University of Florida for further editorial review.
